Episcopal Metropolitan Ministry - Chattanooga

Position:  Metropolitan Minister
Total Compensation:  $19,200 plus $200 expense allowance (60 hours per month)
General description:  Works closely with the 18 Episcopal parishes in Southeast Tennessee and Northwest Georgia to develop and support both new and existing mission opportunities. The Minister is called to connect individuals and parishes to current ECSET mission efforts, and serves as a liaison among those 18 parishes and the parishioners. The minister helps ECSET explore, identify and initiate new areas of mission and ministry.
Reports to:  ECSET Board of Directors in communication with the Bishop of East Tennessee
Qualifications:  A committed lay or clergy Episcopalian, with mission and passion for ECSET mission; experience in missions financing, management and evaluation; having excellent organizational, communication and diplomatic skills; action-oriented.

Knoxville - Ascension

Position:  Assistant or Associate

A program-sized parish in West Knoxville, Tenn., seeks an energetic relationship-oriented priest to join a multi-clergy staff. Will focus on youth and young family ministries while sharing responsibilities for worship, preaching, pastoral care, Christian formation and ministry and program development. Our congregation, one of the largest in the diocese, is multi-generational, and members routinely participate in community outreach through the citywide hunger program and programs for homeless families. The parish has also developed a Stephen Ministry, Daughters of the King, Brotherhood of St. Andrew, a weekly healing service and mission trips. We seek an inspirational priest who can continue to help us grow in the fulfillment of the Great Commission. Position available immediately.
