Resolutions of Affectionate Greeting
Be it resolved, that affectionate greetings in Christ be sent to Mrs.
Helen Vander Horst, a person dearly remembered as one of our diocesan
family.
Be it resolved, that affectionate greetings in Christ be sent to Mrs.
Jane Gates, a person dearly remembered as one of our diocesan family.
Be it resolved, that affectionate greetings in Christ be sent to the
Rt. Rev. William Sanders, a person dearly remembered as one of our diocesan
family.
Be it resolved, that affectionate greetings in Christ be sent to the
Rt. Rev. Robert and Ann Tharp, who are dearly remembered as part of
our diocesan family.
Resolutions of Appreciation
Be it here resolved that a message of gratitude and appreciation be sent
to Jeff Reynolds of DV Presents and his able staff, Dan and Bob, for their
work in arranging the video and audio-video elements of this convention.
Be it here resolved that a message of gratitude and appreciation be
sent to the following for the arrangement of the details of our worship
services at the convention: Bert Russell, Jr., Marjorie Russell, Betty
Davis, Julie Hudson, and Ann Bailey.
Be it here resolved that a message of gratitude and appreciation be
sent to the Rev. Chris Chase for his planning and executing the worship
experiences at this convention.
Be it here resolved that a message of gratitude and appreciation be
sent to Danny Harb and Bill Landry for producing the camp and conference
center video.
Be it here resolved that a message of gratitude and appreciation be
sent to Fran McKendree for the music during our Sunday worship service.

extended to the committee in charge of the arrangements for this convention:

offer their time and talents as volunteers at Diocesan House.
Be it here resolved that a message of gratitude and appreciation be
sent to the members of the diocesan staff: Mary Berl, Alice Clayton,
Rosemary Davenport, Carolyn Dicer, Tami Dyke, Georgia Knazovich, Lynn
Lazlo, the Ven. Michael Doty, Pam Doty, Patricia Tanzer Askew, David
Smart, and Barbara Reed. We routinely anticipated and at times demand
miracles from them and they do not fail to deliver.
Be it here resolved that a message of gratitude and appreciation be
sent to the convention pages: Loren Rogers, Julia Clements, and Jamie
Peabody.
Be it here resolved that a message of gratitude and appreciation be
sent to the staff of the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Knoxville, Tennessee.
Be it here resolved that a message of gratitude, appreciation and admiration
be extended to the Youth Action Council for the development of "Door
to Door: A Guide to the Churches in the Diocese of East Tennessee."
